Felipe & Leroy Archuleta New Mexican Folk Artist

Felipe Archuleta (1910 - 1991) and Leroy Archuleta (1949 - 2002) are world renowned folk artists from Tesuque, NM. We have bought and sold collections of these master wood carvers from Tesuque for over 30 years. Felipe started carving in 1968, he had a variety of students like, Alonzo Jimenez, Larry Jacquez and David Alvarez, who worked with him at his famous wood yard in Tesuque, NM. His Grandson Ron Archuleta Rodriquez inherited Felipe's style, character and families wood yard. Ron is currently one of our featured contemporary folk artist.
